Cristina Alicea
Executive Director
Cristina Alicea is a founding member and Executive Director of MTWorks. Since moving to New York six years ago, she has worked for various theatres throughout the city, some of which include The Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Michael Chekhov Theatre Company, The American Globe Theatre, Thirteenth Street Repertory Company, Creative Stages Theatre, The Soho Playhouse, and the FringeNYC Festival. Some directing highlights include Blackbird by Adam Rapp, Stop Kiss by Diana Son, A Couple of White Chicks Sitting Around Talking by John Ford Noonan, Folie a Deux: Insanity in Pairs and Arpeggio by David Stallings, and Conversation with a Kleagle by Rudy Gray. Cristina is currently directing MTWorks' production of Sans Merci by Johnna Adams and is also directing The State of the Art, a short-play by David Stallings, that will premiere as a part of Women Center Stage for the Culture Project.
She has a BA in Theatre Performance from George Mason University.
David Stallings

Playwright in Residence
David
has been involved in New York Theater for the past seven years as both
a playwright and actor. He has worked with several theater companies;
including Prospect Theater Company, Early Stages and Square Peg Theater
Company. He is a founding member of Maieutic Theatre Works, and serves
as their Artistic Director. David has written four full length plays. Folie a Deux,
in which he also starred as Nathan Leopold, was produced in the fall of
2006 in New York City by Maieutic Theatre Works. Brandon Voss of HX
Magazine called the play, “Riveting” and named Stallings as the
“playwright and actor to watch”. Other plays include Deceiving Chance, Anaϊs Nin Goes to Hell (1st Prize Winner Boston Theatre Works--Unbound Festival 2007), and Arpeggio. David is currently working on A Daughter of Israel, which will be featured in MTWorks 'NewBorn Festival' in January.
David has a BFA in theater from the College of Santa Fe, NM.
M. Antonio Miniño
Managing Director
Is a native of the Dominican Republic, where he studied Theater at the School of Dramatic Arts. He has been involved in NY Theater since he moved in 2005 to attend the Michael Howard Studios Summer Conservatory and the One-Year Conservatory in 2006. NYC Credits include Trojan Women, Elevation, The Queen Mary, Intermission, Ilka's Dream and The Seagull. In the Dominican Republic he appeared in productions of A Doll's House, Amadeus, Lysistrata hates Politics, The Bald Soprano, The Importance of Being Earnest and The Zoo Story.
Producing credits include: Providence, Does Anyone Know Sarah Paisner?, MTWorks' Annual Play Reading Series '07, Folie a Deux: Insanity in Pairs, Immigrants, Sex on the Beach (HOLA Award Winner) and various productions in the Dominican Republic.
Antonio is currently the assistant to Katie Rosin for Kampfire Films PR.

Julie Griffith
Director of Fundraising
Julie Griffith is a graduate of The George Washington University With Honors in Theater. She was a booking intern at Richard Frankel Productions, working on several touring shows including Hairspray!, The Producers, The Rat Pack,and Movin' Out. She is a Founding Member and Producing Director of Intravenous Theatre, Associate Production Manager of The Production Company, General Manager of To Barcelona! by Michael Niederman, and Associate Producer of Arpeggio by David Stallings (45th Street Theatre). New York producing credits include readings of The Color Wheel by Stacy Pershall, Freedom! And the Sticky End of Make Believe by Thomas L. Pasculli, (The Players' Theatre) Sharks of Montana by Jonathan A. Goldberg, The Migration by Matthew Johnson, Deceiving Chance by David Stallings, Does Anyone Know Sarah Paisner? by Jennifer Lane, Flowers Until Sunrise by Craig Jessen, Pictures With a Naked Camera by Stuart Warmflash, and Anatomy of an Anarchist by Eric Ugland (Interborough Repertory Theater).
