FOLIE A DEUX: INSANITY IN PAIRS

Written by David Stallings; Directed by Cristina Alicea.
                                The Rock Theater, NY

With Hella Bel, Brian Hathaway, Lauren Montgomery and David Stallings.

Narrated by legendary lawyer Clarence Darrow, the play digs into the psyches behind both the infamous Leopold and Loeb murder cases and the equally famed Papin Sisters simultaneously. Both couples were said to have created a "folie a deux" - seemingly justifying their senseless acts of violence. Examining the bizarre parallels between these unrelated, but equally gruesome stories in the hopes of determining a sense behind it all.

Executive Producer: Vinnie Aparo; Producer: Antonio Miniño; Set Design: Gabriel Fonseca; Costume Design: Tyson Murphy & Joseph Passavanti; Lighting Design & Production Stage Manager: Jillian Zeman.
