MISSION.

To birth new plays that question norms and boundaries about our society, humanity, and individuality.

Taken from the Socratic method of teaching--called “maieutics”--MTWorks prefers theatre that asks questions rather than answers them. The goal is not to dictate thought, but inspire it in an innovative fashion.

This is done by supporting the development of emerging playwrights through our annual NewBorn Festival, the establishment of our own acting repertory, and the production of a season of plays comprised of all new work cultivated by the company.
