WHO'S WHO
RICH RUBIN (Playwright) his plays have been produced throughout the U. S., including theaters in New York, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles. Internationally, his work has been staged in Berlin, Sydney, Singapore and the U. K. Rich’s play Assisted Living was a co-winner of the Neil Simon Festival’s inaugural New Play Contest and had a staged reading at the Festival’s Heritage Center Theater (Cedar City, UT) in August 2011. Assisted Living previously received productions at the Adobe Theater (Albuquerque, NM) in 2009 and Sandy Actors Theater (Sandy, OR) in 2011. It was a finalist in the Long Beach (CA) Playhouse 2008 New Works Festival and a semifinalist in the Firehouse Theater (Richmond, VA) 2009 Festival of New American Plays. Rich’s most recent play, Marilyn/MISFITS/Miller, about the breakup of the storied marriage of Arthur Miller to Marilyn Monroe, was selected as a finalist for the 2011 Julie Harris Playwright Award as well as a semifinalist for both the 2011 Eugene O’Neill Conference and the 2011 Playwrights First Award of the National Arts Club. A physician by training, Rich served in the U. S. Army Medical Corps from 1972-1976. He is a Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and is currently a member of the volunteer teaching faculty at the Oregon Health and Science University. Rich is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America and Portland’s Nameless Playwrights, a group of Oregon playwrights over the age of sixty.

PETER CAPPELLO* (Davis) is a proud native of the Jersey Shore and a proud graduate of St. Peter's College where he was a member of the Division I Swimming and Diving team. Peter was also a competitive gymnast and continues to train at Chelsea Piers. Some recent credits include: Featured Singer, Gymnast and Diver for Royal Caribbean International where he traveled and performed all over the world, performed the role of Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar starring Constantine Maroulis, played Mike in A Chorus Line, Armand in The Scarlet Pimpernel, and toured with Theaterworks in the original cast of Nate the Great The Musical, playing Nate. Peter is a new company member with MTWorks and excited to be making his debut in this fantastic show! LOUISE FLORY (Cramer) Louise last appeared on stage in Carry On at the Gene Frankel Theatre (winner- Outstanding Actress in a Play, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity 2011). Other stage credits include Blue Surge (The Wild Project),Look After You (SoHo Playhouse), The Oath (The ArcLight Theatre) and Burial at Thebes (La Mama ETC). She can also be seen in the current festival-circuit feature film Fields of November and online in the complete first season of Issues: The Series. Along with MTWorks, Louise is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America and NYWIFT.

JACOB MICHAEL THORNHILL* (Corso) is a proud graduate of American Musical and Dramatic Academy, for it is where he took a talent and sharpened it into a craft. He has done regional shows around the country until finally landing a role in Mr. Roberts at The Kennedy Center (starring Hunter Foster, directed by Robert Longbottom). Where he got his equity card and thought, "I should move to NYC now." Needless to say this dog eat dog world ate him up, but finally after a couple years outta "The Biz" he is back and more excited than ever to be part of MTWorks! He has done several readings for the company and was asked earlier this year to become a member. He is so excited to be part of such an eclectic, talented group of performers, directors, writers, and volunteers. Jacob was recently married to his beautiful wife Louise, and he is so excited for her to finally see him preform. When not preforming, Jacob is very active in his community through Skyline City Church. He is a very devote Christian, and loves sharing his testimony of God's grace with others. Jeremiah 20:9
DAN GALLAGHER (Lighting Designer) In addition to his work with MTWorks, Dan also works with On The Square Productions, The Cell, AMDA, and Boo Arts. He has also recently worked for BET, NYC Fringe, Miki Liszt Dance Co, and Flamenco Vivo Dance. Dan is the assistant lighting director for New York City Opera, and is the resident designer for Endstation Theatre’s Blue Ridge Summer Theatre Festival in Virginia. He was the 2005 Gilbert Hemsley Lighting assistant at Lincoln Center, where he worked for NYC Opera, NYC Ballet, the Lincoln Center Festival, Juilliard, Live From Lincoln Center and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Dan has taught lighting design at the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he received his MFA and designed The Physicists for which he won the 2003 Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival award for best lighting design. He has been a guest artist at Arizona State University, Daytona State College and Lock Haven University of PA. Dan is a member of United Scenic Artists 829.

| SHELLY FELDMAN (Director) is an Israeli born actress and director. In Israel she was a member of the Haifa Theater, where she directed and performed in many classical and contemporary plays and also led the Theater’s improv troupe. Along with her theatrical work, Shelly embarked on a successful film and television career, receiving a Best Actress award for her role in the short film The Orthodox Way. She went on to become the managing director of the Israeli SAG, where she created a program in which children in underprivileged neighborhoods received free acting classes and attended theatre and film screenings for free. NYC favorite credits include Dean/Don which she co-wrote with her husband for the Ensemble Studio Theater; the Off-Broadway One-woman show DAI (U/S); the leading role in Anaïs Nin Goes to Hell at the New York International Fringe Festival. As a former soldier in the Israeli army, she found it easy to connect with the dark humor of Costa Rehab and the knowledge that the fight for your life doesn't end when you leave battlefield. SARAH CHANEY* (Lewicki) was born and raised in Waterville, Ohio. Shortly after graduating from Miami University with a BA in Political Science and Theatre, she moved to NYC. Since her arrival, she has studied with the amazing, Maggie Flanigan, at Maggie Flanigan studios (a two year Meisner Acting program) along with numerous voice teachers including, Dr. Bryan Wade, Judy Blazer, and Liz Caplan Studios. Her artistic experience has included a vast array of theatre, musical theatre, cruise ships, singing/songwriting, recording contracts, rock bands, voice overs, tv, film, and commercials. Some of her favorite roles have included Ofah in MTWorks' The Oath, Beatrice in MTWorks' The Family Shakespeare, Fantine in Les Miserables, Trina in Falsettos, and Ellen in The Games We Play I and II. She is also a proud staff and company member of MTWorks.

RACHEL MCPHEE* (Cinnamon) is originally from Racine, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in Theatre-Acting Specialist and History in 2005. After that she spent a year rolling around on the floor, mincing in restoration costumes, brandishing swords, and spouting Shakespeare at the Drama Studio London where incidentally met her husband, playwright and actor Rob Benson. Favorite acting credits in New York include: Vieux Carre at The Pearl Theatre directed by Austin Pendleton, the world premiere of The Footage at the Flea, a few apperances on Guiding Light, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with OTSP. She is an Acting Company Member of Maieutic Theatre Works and also the Executive Director and Co-Founder of On the Square Productions (www.onthesquareproductions.com) . NICHOLAS URDA* (Wheeler) is excited to be joining the cast of Costa Rehab and to be performing with MTWorks. Credits include: Brutus in Julius Caesar (Curious Frog), The Real Thing, The Shrew Tamer, Betrayal and My Fair Lady (Northern Stage), La Llorona (Amphibian Stage Productions), Private Lives (Two River Theatre), Othello, starring Patrick Page and Avery Brooks, Comedy of Errors, Don Juan,
The Persians, Loves Labour’s Lost (Shakespeare Theatre Co, DC), Loves Labour’s Lost (Royal Shakespeare Co). Film Credits Include Tactics with The Movie Mind Productions, Measuring Up with Life Art and countless other shorts. Look out for his upcoming web series Team Allies and Date Night. In addition to being an actor, Nicholas is an acting coach for the Center for Creative Media in Garden Valley, TX and THE events in Orlando Florida. He has also taught in various studios in NY. He would like to thank God and his wife, Alana, for all her love and support. Nicholas is a proud member of AEA since 2006. LONDON GRIFFITH (Stage Manager) this is her first show with MTWorks. She is a member of BOO-Arts, a NYC theatre company dedicated to bringing classics and new works to the stage. Griffith served as production stage manger for BOO-Arts most recent production of A Daughter of Israel. Studied at the University of Central Arkansas and is a graduate of the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, School for Film and Television.
JESSICA THORNHILL (Assistant Producer) is a proud new staff member of MTWorks. She came on board to be the special events coordinator, and is thrilled to serve as the assistant producer for this inspiring project, Costa Rehab, which just so happens to boast a cast of her brother, Jacob, and best friends, Peter and Sarah. Her past producing credits include : The Games we Play I, II, and III with Cocktail 6 Theatre Company (founding member). After an education in theatre performance, she is excited to learn how the other half lives and would like to thank her family and friends for always believing in her and her boyfriend Liam for being so unconditionally supportive. I love you.
