LAUREN MOLINA (Co-Host) Lauren Molina is a Broadway actress, musician, singer-songwriter, and artist. She made her mark on Broadway starring as the cello-playing Johanna in the critically acclaimed revival of John Doyle's "Sweeney Todd," winning the Independent Reviewers of New England Award Best Supporting Actress and named as one of the celebrated "30 Under 30" featured on Broadwayspace.com.
After performing for nearly 2 years as Regina in ROCK OF AGES on Broadway and Off, Lauren left to play a dream role; Cunegonde in CANDIDE, directed by Mary Zimmerman, at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC, where she won a 2011 Helen Hayes award for Best Actress in a Resident Musical. She recently worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival on John Doyle's original musical, TEN CENTS A DANCE, with Donna McKechnie and Malcolm Gets. This production utilized actor/singer/musicians, Lauren playing cello, bass, guitar, ukulele and saxophone, and expressed the story thru the music of Rodgers and Hart.
NICK CEARLEY (Co-Host) recently was recognized by the NJ Star Ledger and Peter Filichia for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for his performance as Randall Klausner, role he originated in ...And Then I Wrote A Song About It: The One Man Musical. Other credits include: 1st National Broadway Tour of All Shook Up (dir. by Christopher Ashley). Regional Premieres: Next To Normal, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Pageant (dir. by Tony Nominee Bill Russell), Altar Boyz, Last Smoker in America (opposite Tony Award Winner Alice Ripley). Other regional credits include: Forever Plaid, Just So Stories, A Little Night Music, Nunsense Amen. Nick has also worked on many new plays and musical premieres of Bernice Bobs Her Mullet (NYMF, Julia Miles Theatre), Cupid & Psyche (29th Street Rep, NY) La Gioconda (The Clurman Theatre, NY), Awakening (Margo Lion Award Winner), Jubilee (Jonathan Larson Award Winner), and a brief stint with Twyla Tharp and Bob Dylan's project The Times They Are a Changin' to name a few. He has also been a part of a gazillion demos, workshops, readings, and concerts at venues including York Theatre, Barrow Group, New York Stage & Film, BMI, The Dramatists Guild, NYU Tisch, Duplex, The Laurie Beechman, The Canal Room, Joes Pub, Manhattan Grand Ballroom, AMAS to name a few around the NYC area. As a musician, Nick also has played numerous sold out gigs with his band and other people's bands around Brooklyn and NYC, grew up in Cincinnati Ohio and graduated from The Boston Conservatory.
